The New Snowflex Series is in Town!

After 5 years of organising successful competitions at Halifax, organisers AKA's Wayne Taylor and Halifax's Gary Pickburn have set their sights on creating the UK's and Europe's first Snowflex Championships.

The championship will consist of three competitions covering the length and breadth of the UK, and will culminate at the new French Snowflex slope at the Loisinord Stadt de Glise in Noeux-les-Mines, France in October 2007.

Several sponsors have been approached to support the series including Option Snowboards and Movement Skis and of course the Snowflex team.

On offer is the chance for the best un-sponsored riders to win a trip to Dragon Lodge. They will ride with the guys from Option and Movement and at the end one snowboarder and one skier should get a sponsorship deal.

The competition series will kick off in Halifax in May and will close in a grand finale at the Loisinord Stadt de Glise in Nœux Les Mines in France in October 2007.

The dates for all the competitions are as follows:

Halifax                         - Saturday 26^th May 2007

Warmwell                    - Saturday 16^th June 2007

Bearsden                      - Saturday 28^th July 2007

Nœux Les Mines           - Saturday 20^th October 2007

If the competition that was held at Nœux Les Mines last year is anything to go by then this should be a spectacular series that will attract the very best in freestyle skiing and snowboarding from all around Europe and in turn this will attract thousands of spectators!
