New Snowflex® park for Newquay

Cornwall will see all the excitement of the Alps and the recent Winter Olympics on a permanent basis with the creation of Winterpark Cornwall, an innovative Urban Snowsports Centre which will cater for skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing on the outskirts of Newquay.

Using Snowflex® as the preferred and proven surface system, Winterpark Cornwall will be the first ever purpose built ‘Freeride’ centre catering to the needs of the modern snow sports users. It will include a half pipe, rail-park, jumps, a moguls run, a beginners slope, two lifts and a contemporary ski lodge.

Winterpark Cornwall is planning to open its doors by mid 2007.
