Spanish national media at MesetaSki and the view from Villavieja PDF Print E-mail
Briton Engineering Developments Limited's latest project in Spain is reaching the halfway stage and is already attracting attention from local and national media. Whilst Briton's HQ in West Yorkshire, England has been experiencing the same torrential rain as the rest of the U.K., the team in Spain have been working in sweltering temperatures and the project is now moving apace.

On the 30th July, key local dignitaries who first envisaged having the ski slope built visited the project to see how the work was progressing.

They were interviewed by Spanish media and briefed on the status and expected completion schedule, now hoped to be the final week in October.

The view future generations of skiers and snowboarders will have as they speed down the mountain is quite spectacular and many of the installation team are looking forward to testing out their own handiwork once complete. Briton has frequently taken on-board professional skiers and boarders for the construction phase and this time the team are joined by Joe Tyler and Ben Hawker, both of whom will be familiar to many people in the U.K. snowsports scene.
