Well some of us from Briton Engineering together with crews from Halifax, Glasgow, Rossendale, Warmwell & High Wycombe went to play with our new friends in Noeux Les Mine in Northern France.

Some 50 skiers and boarders from the UK decided to make the trip from all four corners of the UK – just for a laugh! How dedicated is that to the Snowflex® cause?

Combined with 30 or so locals that also came to play, everybody had great fun amusing themselves on the new slope the whole weekend – only to take time out to party (just a little mind you) on the Saturday night.

And as Saturday progressed and the tricks became more and more adventurous and death defying, the locals that had to come to see what all the fuss was about could not fail to be impressed with the acrobatics that skiers and snowboarders alike performed. And not to be outdone some of the locals also decided to get in on the act too which bodes well for the future of the facility.

The whole weekend was deemed a great success by the skiers, boarders, local and national press that attended and the local municipal council. So much so that we have been asked to organise an International Ski & Snowboard Jam Session for Saturday 7^th October 2006 where hopefully we will have teams from France, Holland, Belgium, Spain & Portugal in attendance too.
